The Collaboration

Samuel J Friedman Theatre 261 West 47th Street, New York, New York

This play fresh from a successful run on the West End brings us two art world titans Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat working on an artistic collaboration before our eyes in the 1980's. We are going because I want to learn more about eccentric artist and longtime Montauk resident Andy Warhol. The fact that Paul Bettany is portraying this cultural icon is another reason the group is going to GO! Join!

& Juliet

Stephen Sondheim Theatre 124 West 43rd Street, New York, New York

Leopoldstadt

Longacre Theatre 220 West 48th Street, New York, New York

I first heard of this show arriving to Broadway when my friend Laura W. texted to let me know she had jumped on tickets back in July. Bravo Laura! I agree we must go experiences Sir Tom Stoppard's "humane and heartbreaking" new play. Join!

Between Riverside & Crazy

The Hayes Theater 240 West 44th Street, New York, NY

For our MATINEE & PLAY PEOPLE: A character play that swirls around a rent controlled apartment on Riverside Drive.  Lots to dissect on the stage and I find… all kinds of endearing. Quiet. Powerful. Cerebral. Love!

Kimberly Akimbo

Booth Theatre 222 W. 45th St., New York, New York

Kimberly Akimbo is all heart and should be mandatory viewing for all humans. Join the group to laugh and cry and then laugh and cry some more. A more satisfying Sunday on Broadway is hard to fathom. EVERYONE should GO!

Ohio State Murders

James Earl Jones Theatre 138 West 48th Street, New York, New York

Some shows are easier to select than others. The second I heard about this one  I found two very distincts reasons that I, and hence, we had to go. A: the word OHIO - I am a proud born and bred OHIOAN and if OHIO is in the title I am there. B: AUDRA MCDONALD - just a master at her craft doing what she does best in this taut, short (75 minute) and suspenseful tale.

Sweeney Todd

Lunt Fontanne Theatre 205 West 46th Street, New York, New York

The number one question I got asked last week? Are we going to Sweeney Todd? My answer? A resounding YES. Josh Groban. Annaleigh Ashford. Directed by Thomas Kail. The fellow who directed that little known show: Hamilton. Obviously we are gonna go! Twice!

Camelot

Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center 150 W 66th Street, New York, New York

I knew NOTHING about the production when landing on this show for our coveted Mother's Day Matinee spot. My trust factor for productions overseen by Andre Bishop at Lincoln Center is that HIGH. Now having spent some minutes researching what is in the works my trust has been rewarded.
