Kevin was extra animated when he described this walk and is eager to share all he knows about the museum's history and to treat us to a "stay away from the crowds" immersive Met experience.

We go to the theater for lots of reasons, chief among them in my opinion, to get perspective on lives of other humans we might otherwise not understand. I look forward to experiencing this difficult, gritty, heartbreaking, brain expanding, perspective shifting offering with all of you. This one is also a MUST for our play people.

Having dazzled UK audiences at the National Theatre and garnered widespread acclaim around the world, this engaging new play makes its North American premiere and marks the New York debut of writer and director Alexander Zeldin.
Some of our visit highlights include: Greek and Roman, American wing, hidden storage (ooh fun!), Arms and Armor, Egyptian, French Decorative arts, and a lot in between including the architecture of the buildings. This is the last date on our calendar. Join!

A bon voyage Walk & Talk before we depart for spring break! Let’s chat about all the various destinations we will be visiting in the coming weeks. Let's GO!
Given the nature of this group I felt I had no choice but to select Times Square and The Theater District for our next Walk & Learn experience. As a group that goes to the theater on the reg we obviously log a great deal of time here, but do we really understand how this area came to be? I don't! So picture me ears wide open learning from Kevin. Who's with me?

Join Kevin Draper on our "Walk & Learn" through Union Square and down to Washington Square Park to explore the NYC art world during the defining years of 1870 through the 1890s in the very neighborhood that is considered the birthplace of the NYC art scene.

Broadway Outings for Women (BOW) create opportunities to enhance our experience and enjoyment of the best shows on Broadway. As with most art, we believe that appreciation improves with context and knowledge. BOW events focus on the contributions of women to Broadway productions and dive into the often under-represented female perspective in the Broadway theatre.

I can tell from the flurry of sign ups that the group agrees with me that Camelot on stage at Lincoln Center is sure to be a gem of a sparkling experience at the theater. With a book by Aaron Sorkin and Phillappa Soo stepping into the role of Gueneviere, expect to be transported in a completely resplendent new way to King Arthur's Court.
I knew NOTHING about the production when landing on this show for our coveted Mother's Day Matinee spot. My trust factor for productions overseen by Andre Bishop at Lincoln Center is that HIGH. Now having spent some minutes researching what is in the works, my trust has been rewarded.
Let's finish the season where we started with The Gilded Age PART TWO! We will kick things off at The Plaza and then head south.

We will start our immersive experience in the oldest tavern in NYC: The Fraunces Tavern where we will learn all about what went down in the early days of this tavern. We will also visit McSorley's, the oldest Irish Saloon in NYC and a fun surprise spot to close out the evening.

Let's go to a WEDDING - in Delhi! At the always innovative, always inevitably SOLD OUT theater run at St. Ann's Warehouse this spring. We have two opportunities to be part of what will surely be a colorful, festive, drama filled and unique celebration.
I love summer, but as we get closer to summer I get a little cagey about saying adieu to NYC for a couple of months. I kind of do a last gasp culture grab (this year in between celebrating my high school graduates). Seems to me that seeing this show in advance of clearing out of dodge is the IDEAL way to say my temporary goodbyes. Sign me up for any opportunity to see a love letter to NYC on the stage!
TICKETS AVAILABLE!!!
Given the starry power on stage (Kelli O'Hara and Brian d'Arcy James) and the wondrous creative team it is no surprise that this production is at capacity with very limited seating available unless you want to go over Memorial Day weekend. :) If you want to experience this show - grab your ticket with us and let's GO!
