I feel it is our theater going RESPONSIBILITY to take on this powerful play about a Jewish family in 1944, living in France and anxiously awaiting news about their missing relatives. This ambitious production, over the course of 3 hours and 10 minutes (and two intermissions), spans several decades and five generations as the same questions the couple asked in 1944 remain sadly relevant today.

Grab a green juice and let’s go be in awe of this production that explores history, home and, well not to sugar coat it, hatred. All directed by the exceedingly capable David Cromer (director of The Band’s Visit).

Note: this date was deliberately chosen to work in concert with our Kevin Draper Walk & Learn on The Jewish History of the Lower East Side.
