LEMPICKA is the sweeping new musical about the renowned, Art Deco-era painter, Tamara de Lempicka. Polish-born, Russian-raised, Jewish and Bi-sexual, Lempicka overcomes all odds in life-or-death circumstances to achieve astounding success. Although this story takes place during turbulent times, in the 1920s and 30s in Paris, the show remains upbeat, with a pop and jazz-infused score and a driving, pulsing energy indicative of Lempicka herself. Her story is inspiring and life-affirming, while also reminding us of the fragility of freedom of expression.

LEMPICKA boldly explores the contradictions of a world in crisis, a woman ahead of her era, and an artist whose time has finally come. Directed by Tony Award Winner Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown) and starring Eden Espinosa.
