Lower Manhattan has 400 years of history and we’ve learned a ton of it on our Kevin walks all year! But you know what else lower Manhattan and NYC as a whole has? An abundance of outdoor art! Yes it does! Often it is art that we walk by unwittingly unaware of its significance. Let’s change that and take a nice May walk downtown to discover the history and story’s of why NYC is home to SO MUCH outdoor art.

From a 3-D map of New Amsterdam that appears to emerge from a boulder, Keith Haring, to the Bull, a Fearless Girl, a cube, four trees and a whimsical new outdoor art project that has been created to increase awareness of endangered species! Excited to learn all about this outdoor art with you. PERFECT way to spend a morning in May. Bring your pup!! This one is for certain dog friendly.

We’ll meet at Peter Minuit Plaza in South Ferry, at State Street/Water Street and Whitehall Street in the Financial District, Manhattan. The experience ending spot will depend on how much ground we are able to cover while viewing all the art we are able to SEE!!
